ABOUT
I explore how photography develops cultural memory and nostalgia. In exploring the relative truth values of images, I see urban landscapes as a multidimensional, cultural sieve through which ‘kairos’ can emerge.
Kairos is the representation of logos and cosmos come together. The instant in which the world releases meaning, like a poem in celebration of the event. Perfectly balanced light and shade, when clarity emerges amid the confusion of forms.
Hayden graduated from Carleton College in 2016 with a BA in Physics and Astronomy. At Carleton, Hayden studied pulsar emission geometry, French literature, and political theory. He is currently working toward a Master of Architecture degree at the Spitzer School in New York City.
Hayden lives and works in Hamilton Heights, New York.
